OJEN stands for Ontario Justice Education Network. They are a legal organization dedicated themselves to promote understanding, education, and dialogue to support a responsive and inclusive justice system.
Together with LAWS, OJEN holds the annual Justice Education Symposium program, examining justice education and highlighting the resources and expertise of those successfully promoting an understanding of the justice system in partnership with schools. The goal of this program is to connect representatives from high schools, colleges, universities, community organizations and the justice sector.
Seneca College is proud to participate in its second year on the Justice Education Symposium Project. Participants will be facilitating discussions with high school students on difficult topics within the classroom, developing lesson plans etc. Watch for more updates on the actual date of the symposium and volunteer sign up date!
